Film Photography
You have entered my most recent endeavor. I find that I start many hobbies and then soon drop them or dive much too deep into them. Music was once a hobby for me that felt like a creative expression of my inner-self, but it now pays my bills and holds more responsibility than a hobby, or art, can. At one point coffee was a hobby for me, but then I held a few substantial coffee jobs and turned it into something much more. Chess holds the opposite fate; it always falls out of my life fashion when I start to find joy in it. With the extreme ends of a hobby covered (PhD in music, and dropping computer coding the moment I started to understand), I wanted to provide myself a space of grey responsibility. This page is a platform to showcase my hobby that is fulfilling its role truthfully. Below you will find some of my film photos. These are mostly shot on a Canon P with a Jupiter 8 lens running Portra film of various ISO (with many an exception). Putting these shots in a public place provides the needed pressure to keep this hobby of mine alive, but framing it through a minimally curated Easter egg on my music-centric website humbles its growth beyond. I hope you enjoy scrolling through, and thank you for holding me hypothetically responsible. If you find a photo you dig, feel free to download to it. If you happen to download it and want to throw some financial love and support my way so that I may continue this hobby, I have included a voluntary donation link below.
